Democrats in Indiana know exactly how weak the Republicans in Indy are, and they are going wild with gun control bills.

Recently State Senator Fady Qaddoura — a Muslim who spent the first 18 years of his life in Palestine — filed Senate Bill 82 which would repeal Indiana’s firearms pre-emption law.

To be precise, the bill repeals pre-emption in Marion County. And once that happens, other counties will immediately follow suit.

This would be a total disaster for gun owners in Indiana!

If SB-82 passes, Indiana’s gun rights won’t be protected by one uniform state law anymore.

Instead, politicians in Marion County and soon all of our Democrat-run counties would be free to pass their own gun bans, restrictions, and penalties — city by city, county by county.

In practical terms, SB-82 would:

👉 Allow liberal counties to ban firearms and magazines and accessories, even when state law says they are legal

👉 Create a patchwork of local ‘Gun Free Zones’ that law-abiding Hoosiers could violate without even knowing it

👉 Turn routine travel across Indiana into a legal minefield for gun owners depending on what city they are in

👉 Give activist prosecutors in our ‘blue’ counties a green light to harass gun owners endlessly

This isn’t hypothetical.

The Left knows it’s harder to ram gun bans through Indianapolis — so they’re trying to dismantle the guardrails and let local governments do the dirty work instead.

And make no mistake: this bill is a direct follow-up to the other gun control bills we’ve been warning you about.

When Democrats see House and Senate Republicans refuse to pass pro-gun legislation year after year, they don’t back off.

They push harder.

That’s why we have to stop SB-82 immediately — before it gains momentum and a stack of cosponsors.
